Behind
VILLA NO. 8
Villa № 8 was founded by Nikolaj Blechingberg Kure and Mille Køhnke Lindstrøm. A love for real estate and former residence in Spain has resulted in a passion for precisely Villa № 8.
A MISSION TO COMBINE TRAVEL EXPERIENCES WITH COMMON SENSE AND GOOD ECONOMY.
Our story starts back in Chicago, USA, where Mille was working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the time. After much consideration and the desire for a different life, we decided to change course. We packed all our bags and took off with our dog, Bobby, on a direct flight from Chicago to Mallorca. We have always been fascinated by traveling and experiencing the life that can unfold in other places in the world. At the same time, we want to give other Danes the opportunity to combine the travel life with good finances and sensible investments – also in life.
The starting point has therefore become homes in Southern Europe, located in locations that meet all the requirements above. Our mission is to make it easy and attractive to own together with others – but still achieve benefits such as tax-free profits on sale.
WE WILL MAKE POSSIBLE WHAT MAY SEEM UNATTAINABLE
We experienced for ourselves through a previous purchase process in Mallorca what a jungle the Spanish market can be at first glance. It actually ended up being for the same reason that our transaction fell through. How we would have liked someone to have told us everything we know today. We therefore know from experience that it can be nice to be in safe – and not least knowledgeable – hands throughout the entire process. We are therefore proud of our expertise, which makes it possible to fulfill your dreams and take care of everything from AZ – even after the home has been purchased.
TOO MANY NEVER GET TO LIVE THE DREAM OF A HOLIDAY HOME ABROAD
For some it is the hassle and responsibility and for others it is the economy that holds them back from living out their dream. With Villa № 8 there is a desire to give more Danes the opportunity to co-own a home. When you share, you get much more for your money. It is easy and effortless and the best investment you can make. It is an investment in much more than just bricks – it is an investment in life and new experiences. So it makes sense to share.
SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY IS IMPORTANT
Last but not least, far too many houses are empty after the summer – both in Southern Europe and Denmark. This is not only unhealthy for the house, but also for social sustainability. We want the small shopkeeper, neighbors and the local community to thrive and flourish with us. In addition, we try to preserve traditional buildings and materials as much as possible rather than building new ones and always incorporate energy-saving solutions in the homes.
